John Drane teaches practical theology at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. He is also an adjunct Professor of New Testament at Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, CA, and a Visiting Professor at Morling College, Sydney, Australia. This is a great book for anybody who has questions about the context

This is a great book for anybody who has questions about the context, background and stories of the bible. It answered many questions that I always had and sometimes wasn't even aware of. The book is written in an interesting, engaging style that does not require a scholarly approach. Highly recommended.
