My FAVORITE McClellan Series!
By AmazonCustomer
I was lucky enough to read this book prior to publication, but I still grabbed a copy once it went live as it was too good of a book to have read for free--besides which, I wanted the opportunity to read a final format on my kindle whenever I want! The story continues shortly after where The Devil's Fool left off, but from Lucien's point of view. It was intriguing to see things from his perspective, and definitely the right POV choice for this story. We went from getting to see Eve fall in love with Lucien to getting to see Lucien fall in love with Eve. I have to say, I've been a fan of McClellan or a LONG time...but this is my FAVORITE of her series. This story was an adventure with one turn after the other, and I'm really curious to see how the third book will be approached, and also what the conclusion to this trilogy will be!

Freaking Fabulous, Better then Devil’s Fool!
By Jami Leigh
This is not a standalone novel and does end on a cliffhanger. The third book in the series is called The Devil’s Soldier (slated for fall 2015).

This book is mainly from the standpoint of Lucien. We find out that he and Eve are linked and she trys to get him to over come his past mainly throughout the entire book. We get to see his back-story from the past 300 years or so, but at the end, we find out from Henry (vampire, leader of the Deific) that Lucien has a very important story that goes back beyond what he knows. We also get to see how Charlie’s relationship with Eve has changed and what her role is in the Deific since they moved to Seattle. I personally think there is something going on with Henry as well, but we don’t see too much dealing with him in this novel. The details from The Devil’s Fool are very present in this installment. I found myself jotting notes about thing that were happening in the second novel that we saw precursors for in the first novel.

The Devil’s Angel is freaking fabulous and if you have read any of my other reviews, I HATE a cliffhanger. This installment of the Devil Series is better then the first. I pretty much read it in a day; I could not put it down. The suspense was maddening at times, I yelled at Lucien so much and laughed out loud at other parts. I am going to have a very hard time not thinking about this story until the next book comes out because of how it ends. I highly recommend starting this series.

Edgy and Sexy
By Dixie aka Ezekiel's Corner
I first borrowed this book from my Kindle Unlimited Subscription and now I purchased all three of them
This is the second book of the series and this is totally written on Lucien’s point of view.

Even if you read this first and haven’t read the first one, I think that it would still be ok and you will still have an understanding of the story.

It was just better to read the first one to know the history so to speak.
I felt like this story took an inspiration with the Twilight Saga although it is much better explained.

I think that Edward and Lucien are somewhat similar, even their brooding personality and their anger at the world, their life full of angst.
Even Eve and Bella are somewhat the same because of the powers.
I just felt like the love story is much better explained in this series.
It is a lot edgier and a lot darker and a lot sexier.

Again there is no sex in this story but they are implied.

The author has captured my attention starting with the first story and have not been able to put it down.
I felt like the connection between the characters and I felt every emotion that the author wants to relay.
There is no character in this story that I didn’t like.
I felt like they are all developed and that you get to know all the characters better.

As I have read all three of them, I can definitely say that this is my favorite of the three books.
I myself fell in love with Lucien’s character.
It is definitely a good read with lots of twist and turn.
I enjoyed it a lot even though this is not even my usual type of reading.
