A great book

Been meaning to learn Python for a while. Tried a rather simplistic book first but it didn't go deep enough. This book is perfect. It's easy to follow, covers all the basics but also goes into object-oriented programming and GUI forms. It's got a brilliant glossary with loads of hyperlinks so if you forget something you can just click to it. Great value for money. Highly recommended.

I'm a complete novice and I'm so glad I decided to buy this book out of the many out there. It was easy to follow, comprehensive and for a beginner like me, absolutely invaluable. I was so impressed with how the book was written I downloaded the authors Sci-Fi novel Cry From a Silent Planet this morning because if this guy can write a Python book this well I'm sure his novel is a well worth a read too. If you are interested in learning Python, BUY THIS BOOK, you won't be disappointed

This is a true account of what happened in the years leading up to the Great Depression, 1919 through the 20's was an era that mirrors what our country is going through right now, socially, economically and morally. Corruption in government, declining values and morals, income inequality and greed. Presidents and Congresses that didn't pay attention or in Harding's case, one who didn't have a clue how to be a leader, sound familiar? Read it and see what you think.
This was written in 1931 so it hasn't been altered to make it politically correct for 2012, it's a true account of the decline in our society which culminated in the Great Depression.
